Kathy Lent

Kathy Lent, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is a Senior Associate and Project Manager at O Z Collaborative. Since joining the firm in 2009, Kathy has been a key member of the leadership team, bringing design excellence, technical skill, and steady project management to complex renovation and adaptive reuse projects. Her work spans institutional, higher education, and multifamily residential buildings, leading projects from concept through completion with a thoughtful and collaborative approach.
Kathy earned architectural degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University, developing a strong foundation in both design thinking and technical rigor. Before joining O Z Collaborative, she practiced in San Francisco, New York, and Boston, gaining diverse experience across residential, healthcare, and civic projects. This broad background enables her to skillfully balance design vision with practical implementation.
Beyond her project work, Kathy is deeply engaged in the profession and community. She is active in the Philadelphia chapter of the American Institute of Architects, particularly with the Emerging Professionals group, and contributes her expertise to pro bono design efforts through the Community Design Collaborative.
A longtime Philadelphia resident, Kathy lives with her family in Washington Square West, where they are currently renovating a historic rowhouse. She draws daily inspiration from the city's neighborhoods and architectural legacy, which continually informs her design sensibilities.
