Michael Motyka
Architect
Michael is an architect at OZ Collaborative with a deep-rooted connection to the city; he is a third-generation West Philadelphian who brings both personal insight and professional expertise to projects that shape local communities. Since joining OZC in 2018, Michael has worked across a range of project types including educational, institutional, and faith-based work, and has developed a particular strength in adaptive reuse design. His ability to balance technical precision with thoughtful design solutions makes him a valuable asset to the team.
A graduate of Drexel University, Michael is highly proficient in BIM workflows and has helped lead the firm’s efforts to refine its Revit standards and digital documentation tools. His collaborative mindset, problem-solving skills, and steady commitment to quality design have made him a go-to team member on complex projects.
