William Collett, AIA is a Senior Associate and Project Manager at O Z Collaborative, where he has been leading projects with clarity and expertise since 2004. With over three decades in the profession, Bill brings deep experience and a steady, solutions-focused approach to complex projects across diverse building types. His portfolio spans work for major public agencies including the School District of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Housing Authority, SEPTA, and the Free Library of Philadelphia as well as multifamily residential, institutional, and higher education projects both in the U.S. and internationally.
Bill earned his architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University and has practiced in Philadelphia, across the United States, and abroad, including significant time in Germany and the Netherlands. This diverse professional background has shaped his ability to navigate design and technical challenges with exceptional insight and precision. He is widely regarded as the firm's go-to resource for building codes and accessibility standards, providing dependable guidance on complex regulatory matters.
Outside the office, Bill is a passionate traveler and sketch artist. He has explored the country and globe with a sketchbook in hand, filling more than 35 volumes with detailed observations of places and people capturing the built environment through a deeply personal and thoughtful lens.
