Won Institute - New Campus

Won Institute of Graduate Studies

Bucks County, PA

Won Institute of Graduate Studies sought to expand its campus to support growing academic programs rooted in meditation, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine. After outgrowing its previous home, the Institute acquired a vacant two-story, 29,000-square-foot light industrial building in Bucks County and engaged O Z Collaborative to transform it into a new campus environment. The design reconfigures the existing structure to accommodate classrooms, private treatment and instructional spaces, and a larger clinical area for hands-on training. An herbal medicine dispensary supports the Institute’s curriculum, while a library, student lounges, and offices provide spaces for study and daily operations. Central to the project are the meditation halls, or Dharma Halls, which support both individual and group practice. These spaces are designed to create a calm and focused environment that reflects the Institute’s mission. The surrounding site includes a landscaped setting and a walled meditation garden that extends opportunities for reflection and gathering outdoors. Through the adaptive reuse of an existing building, the project establishes a cohesive campus that supports both academic and spiritual life.
